Cardboard Testimonies

I know that this has nothing to do with Kindermusik, but I had to put this on my blog. I don't know who did the original "Cardboard Testimonies", but our church, Dallas Bay Baptist in Hixson, TN did our own version several weeks ago. These are members of our church, beginning with our senior pastor, Ken Duggan. I saw this three times on Sunday morning, as I played in all three services, and I cried each time. I know so many of these people, and this just reminds us that we are all in need of God's redemption and grace.

Karate Chick

Here is a picture of my daughter in her first karate tournament. She took home a first place in weapons (bo staff) and a second place in kata in her age group in the novice division. I am so proud of her! An oboe player who is a kick chick!
